I have a 1994 chevy s10 my oil pressure is normal when the engine is cold but after the engine reach operating temp, the oil pressure falls dangerously low and it starts to knock. How do i tell the differance between oil pump and main bearing failure?

Use a mechanical gauge for the oil pump and a plastigage to measure bearing clearances on the crankshaft
