I recently purchased a 1994 S10 with 184000 miles on it. I noticed that when I start the truck the oil pressure is a little high. Its sitting around 60. As I drive longer the oil pressure begins to drop when I am not giving gas to the engine. When I do give it gas the pressure jumps back up again. Is there any preventative maintenace that I could do the help keep the pressure at a normal level. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.
