Electrical problem
1994 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello my name is Joseph. I seem to have a a few problems with my 1994 Chevy s-10 blazer. The light in the dashboard doesn't work. So at night I can't see how fast I am going. Also the gauge that show how fast your going doesn't seem to work too. One day i was driving and the needle went down to zero and didn't go up no matter how fast I went. I would like to know what the parts I need are called and about how much it would cost to buy them. Please contact me as soon as possible. My e-mail is jgas22j@verizon.net Thank You!

Did you try rotating the knob for headlamp switch or dimmer? Sometimes you can brighten or dim the I/P lites. There is an instrument panel lamp fuse, check that. The circuit goes hot when you turn on the headlites. You may have to check voltage and ground at the instrument panel itself.

As far as the speedometer, check the vss.
