How do I remove a rusted fuel pump, where am I supposed to hit it in a counter clockwise position.

You talking about locking ring on fuel tank?

Spray with PB Blaster then uesing wood, brass or plastic ie. Avoid sparks. Smite ring until lugs move into groves.

Thanks it worked. Now if I could just figure out how to disconnect the electrical connection on top of the fuel pump(the yellow one ).
