Engine Performance problem
1992 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive

This vehicle has the Domestic 1 connector, can two terminals be "jumped" with a wire to make the light flash the stored/existing trouble codes? I am having a performance problem relating to TPS, Mass air flow ect.

Yes, turn the key till dash lites come on, no further. Place jumper wire between A & B terminals at the datalink connector. The mil starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.
