put new fuel pump and sending unit in changed fuel reg. now not getting power check wires and fuses check with light tester and its low light

are you checking the gray wire? this should have a BRIGHT LIGHT WHEN CRANKING OR FOR 2 SECONDS WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED ON.

yes checking gray wire the key is on and the test light is dim

check the fuel pump relay connection, if ok check voltage at the relay and see if it is dim. disconnect the relay and key on engine off check for voltage, it should be bright.
