I need your help, I am stumped. I have a 1990 Chevy S10 it was given to use for our 16 yr old daughter and therefore don't know alot about the vehicle. However in order to get it to run you have to shoot starting fluid in the throttle body. There was no sound coming from the fuel pump. However we went to start it the other day and the battery was dead. We put it on a battery charger and when we went to check it a couple hours later the fuel pump was running and wouldn't shut off. We disconnected the connection at the air/fuel switch and the fuel pump turned off. However now that we have plugged it back in and replaced the air/fuel switch the fuel pump will no longer work again.
Please help we may have a haunted fuel pump?
