My truck will start but stalls at a stop or even when trying to reverse. Then it takes a while to start back up.Took it to a mechanic that said the egr valve needed to be replaced. He also said i should just replace the engine. Also something about the oil pressure not being high enough to allow the engine to push enough gas to where it needs to go. Something like that. Could the engine be salvageable? Could it be the egr valve needs to be replaced?
