Does an automatic transmission bolted to a 2.5 motor have a pilot bushing in the back of the cranksnaft?

Hi there,

there is no pilot bearing, the torque converter id bolted to the drive plate.

I am changing a 2.5L engine. The torque converter stub shaft inerts into a guide bushing in the crankshaft. The replacement engine bushing is smaller than the orginal and I need to remove and swap them. How do I remove them?

Pack it with grease and select the correct shaft to pound it out or get a puller

they also may have a a pilot bushing puller at an auto parts store that uses a slide hammer and puller jaws
