A few months ago i attempted to change the stock stereo for a newer one only to realize i didnt have the correct wireing for the new one. so i reconected the old one and ever since then while im driving (with my lights on) the stereo, dash lights and speakers randomly will rapidly shut off and turn back on again. it worries me, i think it could start a fire or something. if the headlights are off i dont have this problem at all.

One of the wires is reconnected wrong. One of the wires controls radio light dimming when you have the headlights on. If I'm not mistaken its a gray wire.
