My 88 s10 4x4 has a shake in the engine every time i hit the gas even in nuetral or park. I have done all the usuall maintenance plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter ect. the engine still has a slight miss. I even changed all the rear u joints just in case. i can hear and feel a steady pulse when driving which increases with high rpms. however im fairly confident that its in the engine not the drivetrain because it only shakes when i give it gas. the moter was rebuilt less than 5 thousand miles ago. I even disconnected the flywheel from the tork converter and it still there even when its parked. i have suspected a vacumm leak because sometimes it shifts later than it should but I cant find it. Any suggestions would be helpfull

Have you run a compression test? Checked fuel pressure?
