1987 Chevy S-10 Will not stay on

My S10 will not stay on, the only way it will stay on is if I leave the pedal all the way down, once I let go of it, it turns off. I have changed the Fuel Pump and no luck yet. Can someone please tell me what I can do. Thank you.

My guess is that timing is off, try checking the timing chain, and the distributor to see if it may need turned.

Also, try using a timing light, you can buy them at most auto parts stores.
