Engine Mechanical problem
1987 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 0

i have the hayne repair manual and it only give me the specs for the 6 cylynders ,and 4cyl automatic,i need the timming specs for the 4cyl standard,i have searched on the net but im not having good luck but ,the motor is a complete rebuild and i can get it to start up with the specs from automatic but it just races,if i adjust it runs worse any ideas pleas help,my email is tazauger@hotmail.com please help thanx
