I need to replace a front main seal on our little pickup. The ploblem that i am running into is removing the oil pan. I am tring to avoid removing the engine from the veichle, but i cant seem to get the oil pan out. There is a cross member that is in the way, but if i rasie the engine with a cherry picker, i cant get the motor up far enough up to do what i need to do. So my question to is, by any chance is there an easier way to replace the front main or remove the oil pan so i can proceed with my task on hand? Thank you so much for your time and effort to assist myself in this matter.
