1986 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

my s10 suddley won't start, battery is fully charged but when i turn they key nothing happens except the volt metter drops from 14v down to 9V any ideals or suggestions?

Load test the battery if okay double check battery connections and the starter side-if okay do a starter current draw test to rule out the starter.
