1985 Chevy S-10 Two Wheel Drive Manual

The dipstick tube has broken off at the block and the engine is already in the truck. The hood and fenders are off of the truck and I need to find a way to remove the broken piece of dipstick tube without having to take the engine back out of the truck. I have tried placing a screwdriver between the tube and block to try to collapse the tube but have failed. I have also tried the scew a lag bolt into the tube and pull it out and have failed. This tube is stuck really well. Please if you have any ideas of how to get this out without removing the engine I would appreciate it.

Have you tried putting an easy out in and pulling it from there. I tried this once. tighten the ez out inside tube then used a slide hammer attached to a pair of vise grips.

Only other thing you could do is pull the oil pan and push it out. Not the easiest I know.
