1984 Chevy S-10 spark plug wire

I was dumb and messed up my spark plug wire on my 1984 S10 the wire says 7mm Hi-temp radio suppession cable.I have one laying around that says 8mm standard tripple silicone can I use it or not?

If its less than 30K ohms by measuring the resistance of the wire I dont' see why not
