2002 Chevy Prizm Door handle

On my 2002 Prism the handle on the inside of the driver door does notopen the door. It is broke right on the hinge ofthe handle inside. Do I have to take the door apart to replace?

If, when you pull the handle, you see a small screw in there. then remove screw and push handle towards rear (I think), handle should come out. Fish around for door connecting rod, buy new handle.
