2001 Chevy Prizm Problems starting

When I put my key in the ignition it will not even turn. Is there a chance it may be something other than a broken starter?

Do you mean the key will not turn or the engine?

The key will not turn. I checked all the obvious issues, like the steering column, etc. I also tried using the spare key to see if it was the key that was bent, and still nothing.

Have a locksmith check out the lock cylinder, they can remove and repair on-site or at shop.
