2001 Chevy Prizm Oil smells like Gas

I have been told that the gas mixing in the oil is the fuel pressure regulator. Could it be anything else? Will a diagnostic let me know if this is what is wrong or something else? How can I locate the fuel pressure regulator to replace it?

No, I wouldn't be too quick to blame the regulator. That's not very likely at all. I would more expect a bad injector that is leaking all the time.
