2000 Chevy Prizm Timing belt

When should the timing belt be changed for this automobile. There is nothing in my manueal about it.

Your vehicle is equipped with a timing chain. Chains last much longer than belts do. You should inspect your chain every 50k miles. When chain begins to weaken and become loose on inspection, replacement is then necessary.
