2000 Chevy Prizm Hesitation & stalling

My 2000 Prizm hesitates and sometimes stalls on takeoff. Feathering the gas pedal sometimes helps. I've tried adding injector cleaner to the gasoline to no avail. What to do?

Mine did the same thing, try unplugging the battery, unplugging the mass airflow sensor, taking it out, and cleaning the metal part with an electrical cleaner, letting it dry, then put it all back in reverse order. That helped me, but of course it could be something else, but this is a cheap way to see if the MAF sensor is dirty.
