When i stop at a light and my car is idling i hear a noise kind of like something metal is loose moving around in my car making noise. But if I take my foot off the brake and go, then the noise goes away. Or if I am stuck at the light and i put the car into neutral the noise will go away as well. It is only when it is in drive and I am stopped with my foot on the brakes that the noise happens.

Chances are the heat shield on the catylatic converter or other section of the exhaust is loose and vibrating. Take a rubber mallot and tap in the exhaust system to locate where the sound is coming from. If there is nothing you can see that is loose, tap on the catylatic converter to make sure the insides didn't come loose.

Let me know what you find.
