transmision question

I have a 1983 s10 truck 2.8 with overdrive transmission .. my problem is ... once in a great while while driving on the hwy I lose speed .. I push the gas down but no avail . replaced filter, fluid, stilll same problem . this just happens. one day just fine, next day a problem , then the next day it;s fine again .. any suggestions??

if it is a problem in tranny- replace fluid and add a bottle of Lucas transmission fix. guaranteed to help. I had a 79 camaro that would always lose power in third gear like I was running out of gas. Turned out to be power valves in my carb. Bought new carb right out of the box and fixed problem immediately
