I have a 1989 Chevy Cavalier Z24. It currently has 189325 miles on it. We have replaced the Rocker arms on it because they were slightly bent. Does anyone know what the torque is for the nuts that hold them? We have taken the engine apart seveal time trying to adjust this correctly and have not had any luck. Any help would be appreciated.

If your not a subcriber to the manuals linked to this site you can go to www. Autozone. Com and get the specs and the proceedure for tightening your rockers. When you first go to the page go to the upper left corner and click on "change current vehicle". Click in all your information. Once you have that vehicle listed in the corner you can go to repair info I think it was. Then just look up what you need. When you get there make sure your looking at the right engine. It gives info for several so you might have to scroll for your particular proceedure.
