Stupid? What are the points for?

It decides what kind of rank you are. New to the site, level one. So on and so forth

Well it doesnt seem like it would do much good, because anyone could easily get loads of points, but know absolutly nothing, like me. I come here for help, and if I DO know something I share, but it is rare that I know much about cars. Now ask me about woman things and I can probably tell all!
