84 Chevy c10 with a 350 in it. Holly carb. It developed a miss whenever under a load or four barrel is in. I changed plugs, cap, rotor butten, and wires. I'm just not sure where to go next. I'm thinking of changeing that computer thing on top the cap. I pluged the EGR valve and checked for vacuum leaks. No help. Thanks, Keith

It's just a thought but have you checked to see that yhe vacuam advance is working properly? It may not be advancing enough to give you the extra timing you need when you are under hard accelleration. Check and see if your weights and springs aren't hanging up and move freely. Pull your rotor button off and you will see them looking like 2 "l"'s with small spings attached. See if they pivot freely and smoothly- if not maybe some spray lube will loosen them up. Then go back out and try and see what your truck does. Just something to check that don't cost any.
