Front wipers

2002 Chevy Trailblazer LT Vortec V6 4.2_mileage: 60,000. OK here is my problem. I have 2 subs and a amp in my truck the amp went out and some of the plugs came out. I pluged them back in and the amp worked. I then drove home and the amp went out again. When I was at my house I went to use my wipers and they did not work. My rear wiper works fine just not my front wiper. This is a inconvience seeing as we have had bad weather and I need to see out of my window. I would enjoy fixing this so that I dont have to do drive to work in reverse any longer. One of these days I will get puled over and have to explain why I am driving everywhere backwards. What could be the problem so that I can stip living life in reverse please help me thanks.
