2000 Other Chevrolet Models seat belt pull

Interior problem
2000 Other Chevrolet Models 6 cyl 48,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
2000 corvette driver side. The seat belt only comes out of it's housing about 4" and stops. I do not see any screws or a way to get in to housing were the retractor is located. How can I open that area?
