Engine Performance problem
1999 Other Chevrolet Models Two Wheel Drive 60,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
99 Chevy tracker trouble starting- battery is 2 1/2 yrs old - wont start- wait 5 min our so starts fine - go good 3-4 days then wont start agian..... after 5 min of trying and letting it sit starts again
Is this a battery - starter or possible alternator problem?

IF the engine cranks but doesn't start, it may be a connection, or a lack of fuel spark or combustion.

If it doesn't crank at all, then I would look at the battery to do a load test, a starter, relay, ignition switch poor connection as probable suspects.
