i replaced thermostat in my 1997 monte carlo but I still have a leak in the back of the engine could it be the freeze plugs or something else

Hi there,

You will need to get a cooling system pressure test done, and have a good look with a torch and a mirror to view the hard to see parts behind the engine, also having the car on a hoist will be a big help as well.
