1995 Other Chevrolet Models Fuel Pump Replacement

1995 Other Chevrolet Models 4 cyl 120000 miles

I have a electric fuel pump replacement but the blad terminals will not connect to the new pump? It fits in the slot but the connection needs to be forced in order to connect and I'm not sure if I should force it or make some changes to the device.

You sure its the right electric fuel pump replacement-if not you have to modify or go for the OEM part-
