My 1995 Georgie Boy motorhome exibited a behavior like one would expect from a failing starting battery. It slowly lost charge until it would not seem to recharge at all.

I took it to a garage to replace the battery only to find the battery is in great condition. The engine will not turn over unless I use the bypass switch for the deep cycle interior battery. I checked the cables and they appear to be clean and tight with no corrosion. Any ideas?

check the ground wher eit connects to the engine or frame. there should be a ground going from the engine to the frame or battery as well. That may be the problem. Or your switch to switch from one battery to the other may be not making good contact either......
