I have a 1995 geo tracker. it runs fine, but today i started it up and went to put it in gear and couldn't get it to come out of park.

Hi sara967,

If the car is equipped with interlock, check if the brake lights are working.

If they are not working, you would not be able to shift from park unless you manually unlock the gear shift.
