i have just bought a new battery it started for three days but on the fourth day the car wouldn't start why is that

I would have the charging system checked,it's possible your alternator is only putting out enough power to keep the lite out,also have the electrical system checked for a voltage draw,something staying on,( truck lite,underhood lite)Good Luck,Lou
