1993 Other Chevrolet Models timing

Is it a constant pop, pop ,pop,pop, pop,............. Or isit a hesitation pop when you open the throttle? If it is a constant pop it is likely that it has jumped cam timing or burnt an valve. If it is a hesitation pop there is alot of things that would cause that.
