1991 Other Chevrolet Models transmission change

Is it possible to change a manual transmission to an auto on Geo Metros? It is a long story as to why, but I may have to do it soon. I think I can buy an used auto trans. And maybe, conceivably, get someone to do it for free labor. However, is it even possible? Thanks, thomas p.S. The engine is three cylinder, not four; couldn't enter 3 cyl

Its alot o fowrk and you'll need new mounts for the trans and maybe a new undercarriage. If you have a donor car it may be easier. Also you 'll have to change computers and there will be wiring that is missing. I would not advise doing this.
