My husband has a 90 chevy half ton truck when statered it like it dosnt wont to run like its not getting engough fire and its also flooding its self out he at first thought maybe it wuz the disturber but it bought a new one and its still doing it he has cheked sparked plugs also please help thank you

You could have a bad cat convertor on the exhaust,check the engine compression,those engines had a habit of breaking the cylinder head bolts.
