Can I use a Catalytic Converter from a Chevy s10 3.0 liter think its a 1993 on a 1990 Chevy c1500 Scottsdale 4.3 liter truck?

I would expect they are 2 different part numbers and doubt it would work. I have no idea how to chemically or otherwise compare the two cats.

Since the s10 never had a 3.0 the odds are increased that it won't work.

My Dad said its a 3.0 but likely its a 2.8 v6.

I don't recommend attempting it. I have no way of verifying if it would or not. There are universal converters that fit various models, but those are sometimes problematic. So it may function acceptably, but I wouldn't do it.
