1985 Other Chevrolet Models Radiator cooling fan

1985 Other Chevrolet Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The fan on my 1985 chevy g30, minnie winnie rv runs all the time and won't shut off. This causes high revving of the engine and I am sure fuel over usage. The temp gauage seems low, so I can't figure out wjy it would be running so much. When I turn on the air conditioner, it shuts off for a minute but then fire riight back up??
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Check and test the following items: Thermostat, coolant temperature sensor, engine temperature gauge switch and fan relay
