1985 Other Chevrolet Models V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual

truck runs good at idle,and in 1,2,3 gears. but it pops back and spits in high gear ive replace about everthing but still dose it.

if the gear is engaging all the way in 4th or high gear, th nit may be a broken or badly worn syncronizer. Or there is something wrong with the the blocker ring or the gear is worn. The trans wil have to be taken apart and looked at.
