Hi, I have a kit car on a chevy chevette chasis. It was working fine and then one day wouldn't start. the batteries fine, etc. on a hunch I thought it might have something to do with the shift lock and sure enough, I had kicked two wires loose that come from the shifter and go down toward the brake/accelerator area. I can't figure out where to put them, though. There seem to be a bunch of places where they would fit and I tried a couple and blew fuses. My instinct is one goes to the fuse bus and the other? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nate Meyer

I don't think this year had a shift lock, here are some wiring diagrams, go by the colors of the broken wires to find your circuit....
