1980 Other Chevrolet Models gauges read wrong

I have a 1980 chevy 1 ton van body motorhome.
when the ignition is off the needle on gas gauge lays flat, when you start it, it will move to half full and not move again. also I seem to think that the temp, oil pressure gauges are not reading right. just wanted to know were to start any help would be great

i think the best option is to replace the fuel gauge sender unit .. see if that works .. if you can get hold of one ?? i don't have any tech information for this vehicle .. but i don't think all the gauges could be linked to each other on a vehicle of this year ???
