I have a 1972 Chevy C-20 with a 454 in it. I had a loud tick that turned to a knock and I have pulled the engine to find that one of the stock stamped rocker arms has a hole in it where it contacts the valve stem, which is also beaten badly. The question, what's it cost to have someone go over the heads and correctly change out the valve guides, valve seats (not hardened on the 1972 heads), springs, etc.?
