It vibrates threw the whole car from 2300rpms -2950rpms I put new tires on, shocks, ajusted pinion angle etc new motor, trans 700r4 new driveline , new rear gears 342 82 camaro rear end 7.5 posi I havn't changed the wheels yet? You can feel the vibration in steering wheel and your seat approx 60 to 80mph under 2200 smooth 3100rpm it gets better on up but still there, monza front springs 82 camaro dics brakes all new brake shoes and pads blanced old style torque furst wheels stick on weights new tires still vibrates what could it be? Thanks carl I need this fixed, car show in wells nv in 7 days!

Hi there,

If you can feel the vibration in the seat I would be looking at tail shaft balance & alignment, and rear end alignment rear wheels 7 tyres, start here.

I agree with mhpautos, there is something that is out of balance or bad. Check the tailstock with the car up and see if has any play in it. The bearing may be bad. Seen it happen even on brand new parts You say that it srill has the old wheels and they have been balanced. Have you checked the rim for being out of round or damaged. Even if the wheel is balanced but off center it will cause a problem at 80. Another thing to check don't know if it would set it off that much is. Is the engine and transmission straight with the driveline.
