1970 Other Chevrolet Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I'm trying to hook up my trucks heater because its getting cold and I'm tired of wiping my windows with a rag as defrost. I bought a new blower motor, new heater wiring harness, new heater controls, and new vents. Everything is hooked up but 1. I don't know where the power comes from and 2. The blower/air fan doesn't turn on. I put all new fuses in it and still nothing. I buy and buy new stuff but it seems to get me no where. Please any information would help me out. Thanks

I don't have a truck schematic in front of me here but i've got a car and the truck is the probably the same or similar. You should have a 10guage black wire running off the horn relay with an inline 30 amp fuse in it. That leads to a relay on or near the firewall and probably close to the blower motor resistor. That is the power lead. The fuse or relay could be bad. The resistors used to go bad and would knock out all speeds except high. Try that and see if it helps.
