1961 Other Chevrolet Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic n/a miles

Im working on a 1957 chevy trying to change it over from a generator to an alternator do you have a wiring diagram for this changeover.thanks

I would get a single wire alternator they are very simple to put in. You simple remove the old generator and regulator and then you put a single 10 or 8 guage wire from the back of the single wire alternator and thats it it will charge. As for the amp guage if you want to use it then you wire to the amp guage then to the battery.
