I was changing out my hydraulic lifters in my 1955 235 chevy engine. I pulled all the push rods out and looked at them for cleaning. My question is I thought that they had holes on both ends of the rod for oiling. Is this correct? I l, ooked at all of them and tried to stick a wire up in them, it didn't work. Am I wrong? Thanks Mike

You have solid lifters. The oil comes up through head up the rocker tower then squirts out small hole in rocker as it passes over corresponding hole in rocker tube. Then flips off springs and oils the whole thing up.
