1971 Chevy Nova V8 Two Wheel Drive 9999 miles
1971 Nova undergoing complete resto. Car had a heater control valve and air conditioning.
In the vacuum line diagrams, we are shown that on cars with a heater control valve there should be three lines coming off the vacuum switch, which is controlled by the heater control levers behind the dash.
Our vacuum control switch only has two lines.
Since the heater control valve is designed to be closed by vacuum (no hot water through heater core) is there a chance that this car was not equipped with a vacuum line to the heater control valve?
Why even have a heater control valve if you're not going to hook up the vacuum line?
