1970 Chevy Nova V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

combination valve bought thru classic industries installed bleed still feel spongy first attempt combination valve line to master cyclinder front reservior to front (metering valve) of combination valve then rear reservior to rear (proportion valve ) second attempt crossed lines front reserviator to rear proportion valve and then rear reseervior to front Metering valve which is correct? Parrell or crossed lines?

It's been a long time for me to remember that, but if the larger part of the master is at the rear it would go to the disc brake side-the metering valve, and the smaller resevoir to the the remaining side of the proportioning valve. If they are both the same size, then with the lines disconnected, have someone lightly push the pedal down and which ever one gomes out first then that would go to the metering valve side.
